What gets automated

- No. Crow Trader is a rule-based bot: it executes nine configurable, indicator-driven strategies (Bollinger, EMA crossovers, EMA spread, grid, HMA/PSAR, Donchian, squeeze, and Supertrend logic) exactly as you set them. Every entry and exit follows knobs you configured, not a black-box model.
- Does Crow Trader run in the cloud or on my computer?
- On your computer. Crow Trader is a desktop application for macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows. Market data, paper fills, and live orders stay on your machine. There is no hosted account, no pooled funds, and no cloud copy of your API keys.
- How does live trading unlock?
- Three explicit steps: a license (Free Weex or Full), your own exchange API keys, and a confirm-to-enable switch inside the app. Live trading is spot only — no futures, no leverage. Nothing on the website can turn live trading on.
- Is there a free way to try Crow Trader?
- Yes, two. Evaluation mode is free and unlocks paper trading and backtesting with live trading locked. The Free Weex license (register through the Crow Trader referral and honor your Weex UID) unlocks Weex-only live trading when you enable it.
