Crow Quest turns Crow Trader into a game. Profitable sells earn XP, you level up from Fledgling to Crow King (the crow's look changes at some levels), collect 15 badges, and keep a green-day streak.
It is fair by design. XP comes from your percent gain, never from how many trades you make, and paper profits earn the same XP as live ones. The game only watches and celebrates — it never places, sizes, or changes a trade.
How XP works

Habit XP is capped per day. Because XP follows percent gain, a $100 account levels as fast as a $10,000 one, and the number of trades never earns XP. On first start the bot counts your profitable sells from the last 30 days, so existing users do not start at zero.
Win moments
- Small win: the card glows green with a coin "clink".
- Medium win: coins rain on the card.
- Big win (3 % or more): a 2-second JACKPOT banner.
- Loss: a calm grey glow. No sad sound, no XP taken away.
Live cards now flash on every sell too, and trade sounds play on every screen.
Ranks
Fledgling → Hatchling → Scout → Sharp Crow → Night Raven → Storm Crow → Murder Boss → Crow King. The top bar shows your level, an XP bar, a 🔥 green-day streak, and a meter toward your daily goal.

Your settings
Find them in Configuration → Game:
- Effects: Party, Calm, or Off. Your computer's "reduce motion" setting is always respected.
- Sounds: one switch for trade sounds on this device.
- Notifications: Off, Big wins only, or All wins. Mac and Windows show them while Crow Trader runs in the background.
- Daily goal: set a target, or leave it blank for off.
- Preview: buttons to preview a small, medium, or big win and a loss.
- Reset game progress: starts the game over. It removes only game data.
Private by design
Your level, XP, and badges stay on your computer. Crow Quest makes no network calls, and win notifications are built on your machine. Leaderboards may come later; nothing is scheduled.

- Do paper trades count?
- Yes. Paper profits earn the same XP as live profits, so the game never pushes you toward real money.
- Is my game data shared?
- No. Your level, XP, and badges stay on your computer. Crow Quest makes no network calls.
- Can I turn the effects off?
- Yes. Configuration → Game has Effects Party, Calm, or Off, one Sounds switch, and notification options. Your computer's reduce-motion setting is always respected.
- Can a trading bot guarantee profits?
- No — and any bot that promises profits should worry you. Crypto trading involves substantial risk of loss. Crow Trader gives you paper trading and backtesting so you can measure a strategy honestly before any real money is involved. It is software, not financial advice.
